Reality TV star Brittany Cartwright filed a petition on Tuesday seeking divorce from her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, according to documents obtained by Fox News Digital.
The “Vanderpump Rules” star cited “irreconcilable differences” in divorce papers filed in Los Angeles County Court. She sets her separation date as Jan. 24, 2024.
Taylor, whose real name is Jason Michael Couch, and Cartwright married in Taylor's home state of Kentucky on June 29, 2019, with Bravo cameras rolling.

Cartwright, 35, also filed for full legal and physical custody of the couple's 3-year-old son, Cruz Couch, and asked the judge to approve visitation rights for Taylor with the child.
She also asked the judge to suspend the court's ability to award alimony to either party.
The community properties “have not yet been determined at this time,” according to the document. “They will be incorporated in their entirety in Petitioner's Interim Disclosure Declaration, which is incorporated herein by reference.”

Attorneys' fees and costs were required to be paid by each party, with the proviso that “Petitioner reserves the right to request refunds, credits, and other relief that the Court deems fair, just and appropriate in this matter.”

Shortly after filing for divorce, Cartwright posted a stunning selfie on social media, admitting she was “getting her glow back.”

Taylor and Cartwright were separated in February after she checked into a psychiatric facility last month for inpatient treatment after facing marital problems.

“Jax has always been open about his mental struggles, particularly over the past few months on his podcast ('When Reality Hits'),” Taylor's rep told Fox News Digital. “He has made the decision to seek inpatient treatment. This is an especially sensitive time for him and his family. They ask for privacy and respect until he is able to speak more about this matter.”
Fans witnessed their marital struggles on season one of “The Valley,” which aired earlier this year.

Cartwright said: Us Weekly She announced their separation on the “When Reality Hits” podcast in February, saying that she and Taylor were “going through a period of separation.”

“For many years I have forgiven Jax for things I shouldn't have and I've been on his side no matter what, but after nine years, that can get tiring,” she said.
“If he wants to repair our relationship then it's all in his hands so we'll see,” she said, adding that it's “disappointing” that she thinks Taylor isn't making any effort to repair their relationship.

“I don't think he thought I was really going to quit, it's been three months,” Cartwright said, “so I think he thought I'd come back quickly and things would go back to normal, and that hasn't happened.”
