Vanessa Bryant was seen enjoying a honey deuce while rumors floated around about her potentially expecting a fifth child, nearly five years after her husband Kobe’s untimely passing.
At the US Open women’s final, where world number one Alina Sabalenka faced off against Amanda Anisimova, Vanessa shared that she has been confronting these so-called “imagined pregnancy rumors” for over two decades.
The 43-year-old posted on her Instagram story, “Enjoy my honey deuce,” along with a tennis ball emoji and a picture of herself with the drink, a signature of the event.
She humorously added, “Please post to me about how this imaginary pregnancy rumor comes, 24 years from now…”
Kobe lost his life in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, along with eight others, on January 26, 2020.
This devastating incident also claimed the life of their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna “Gigi” Bryant.
The legendary Lakers player was just 41 years old at the time.
Vanessa attended the match from the Emirates Suite at Arthur Ashe Stadium with her daughters, Capri and Bianca, as Sabalenka triumphed over Anisimova with a score of 6-3, 7-6 (3).
In another image, Vanessa and her eldest daughter, Natalia Bryant, 22, were spotted in the suite together.
This match was a rematch from the Wimbledon 2025 semi-finals, where Anisimova had previously surprised Sabalenka.
Vanessa has frequently navigated pregnancy speculation on social media; in June, she even shared a meme involving Rihanna that addressed the topic.
Notably, Vanessa hasn’t been publicly linked to a new partner since Kobe’s passing.
