Hollywood trade magazines Variety The singer is attempting to shame Taylor Swift into supporting Kamala Harris, publishing a column on Monday in which he said Swift's decision to remain silent thus far about the 2024 election is “disappointing” given her past support for Democrats, including Joe Biden.
The magazine even called out Swift for having the audacity to socialize with Brittany Mahomes. Former President Donald Trump has thanked Swift for her support.
Variety The column came shortly after two major polls trusted by the left showed former President Donald Trump holding a slight lead over Kamala Harris among voters nationwide, a major setback for Harris' campaign, which has received endless promotion from establishment media ever since Democratic elites pegged her as the candidate.
With less than two months until the presidential election, Swift has shown no signs of making an endorsement this time around, and mainstream political media is applying pressure.
“Given how much Taylor Swift has benefited from speaking out about politics in the past, the idea of her remaining silent seems to make her past actions of speaking out when it was convenient for her seem ironic,” they wrote. Variety Daniel Daddario.
“It would be a shame if her involvement in politics was simply a passing phase and something she moved on from.”
Former President Donald Trump is leading incumbent Vice President Kamala Harris in the latest national polls, Breitbart News reports. The New York Times/Siena Poll. Trump leads by one point in the two-way race, 48 percent to 47 percent.
The latest Harvard-Harris Poll also showed Trump leading, 47% to 46%.
