Anyway, the vertex octagon is about 30% smaller than the ones that compete elsewhere, and I was able to see more of it with this fight card.
Six of the 12 battles on this card are expected to end within range.
Once football is over, the UFC gets a central staging. Promotions ensure that college football slates won more eyeballs without competing.

Jared Cannonier vs. Gregory Rodrigues
In the main event of this vertex card, Gregory “RoboCop” Rodriguez discovers that it could be the final battle of Jared Canonier's career.
The 41-year-old Canonnier has been a stubborn man in the UFC middleweight division for a long time, but it appears that his decline has begun since then after setting a record for a major strike against Marvin Bettori in 2023.
All his losses to Imavov and Caio Bolarjo in Nassoldeen are a battle that he would probably win with his prime.
However, since Rodriguez should have a clear advantage in those sectors, Cannonier certainly has a disadvantage in both size and grappling.
Rodriguez more often retreats to his grappling, as he saw when he fought the striker, and as he saw when he fought the Arman Petrosian, and lastly when he fought the Christian “Leroy” Duncan. It's on.
However, the canonier was not completely washed, and Rodriguez does not appear to be the second coming of Kamzachmaev.
I expect a competitive battle that will become deeper than Rodriggs normally go.

Calvin Kattar vs. Youssef Zalal
Calvin Kattal looks bad and we know that.
But how can we be rude to non-world beaters like Zalal?
Qatar's schedule is elite, but he dropped four of five in a row against Al Jaman Sterling, Arnold Aennémétt.
Certainly, these are two fighters who go in opposite directions. While Zalal improves with each fight, Kattar is off track with his athletic ability and has no takedown defense.
Zalal is a strong grappler and threatens it with each exchange. Qatar doesn't want to deal with much.
Still, I can't help but watch Zalal lose three consecutive fights against current champion Ilia Topria, despite losing to Sunwau Choi and Sean Woodson in 2021.
He has definitely improved dramatically since then, but his three wins for Billy Saint Gate, Giarno Eller and Jack Shore are not victory over the title contenders.
In fact, I still see Qatar as a step up in the competition.
Maybe I'm wrong.
But I take Kattar here by determining at +900 at the “y'all beas bot of” moment.
