Vera Wang Celebrates 76th Birthday in Paris

Vera Wang recently marked her 76th birthday in Paris, showcasing a striking black Peekaboo gown that revealed a bit of her legs. The dress skimmed the floor and featured a delicate panel in the center, allowing a glimpse of her stylish footwear.

Additions to her outfit included a glittering “76” crafted from gold rhinestones, which added a touch of flair. Wang styled her hair to fall just below her shoulders and opted for a light makeup look, enhancing her natural beauty.

The fashion icon celebrated at the Michelin-starred restaurant Relais Plaza and shared a snapshot from the event on her Instagram account.

One of her guests, Guram Gvasalia, the creative director at Vetements, expressed his excitement, saying, “Finally… in the same city at the same time… I’m so happy to see you and Kirill on my birthday!” A heartfelt moment, indeed.

Despite her age, Wang reassured fans in a recent interview that she has no plans to retire. Reflecting on her busy schedule, she mentioned, “It looks like I have a very complete calendar just a year ago. So I’m just trying to get through it.”

Looking ahead, she’s focused on launching her new perfume, aptly named “Love.” In a playful moment during the interview, when jokingly asked about possibly becoming a vampire due to her youthful appearance, she clarified, “I’m not an old man at all. I spend most of my life working, and when I wasn’t working, I was trying to raise my daughter, so it actually kept me busy.”
