Former President Barack Obama, long rumored to have been the catalyst for Joe Biden's 2020 presidential nomination, then played the role of whisperer puppeteer in the shadows of the lost Biden administration.
As such, he and his allies have proven to be the de facto architects of the Biden administration, one of the most unpopular and unsuccessful presidencies in American history.
Recall that after the faltering candidacy Biden lost the first three primaries and caucuses of 2020, his lackluster campaign was heading nowhere.
Obama and Democratic Party insiders are pushing back on the withdrawal of rival 2020 presidential candidates, including far-left but likely losers such as Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg. suddenly planned.
The Obamas ignored or withheld from the public their first-hand knowledge that Biden was suffering from signs of dementia.
Instead, Biden's cognitive decline and his once-manufactured reputation as “Worker Joe” proved useful as a facade for a genuine Obama third-term “call-it-all” administration. Or, as a pensive Obama once conditioned his dreams of a third term, “if we could just hire a stand-in, a frontman or a frontwoman, and make a deal where they could put earphones in.”
Obama's allies then achieved their dream of enacting four years of far-left mandates that they could only dream of while in actual power.
However, their radical menu since 2021 has divided the country and nearly destroyed it – hyperinflation, 12 million illegal immigrants, devastated borders, spiraling crime, shattered appeasement. foreign policy, public backlash against DEI/Wake/trans xenophobia, partisan legal issues, and the weaponization of government.
And the prevailing radicalism beneath Biden's façade ultimately cost Democrats the presidency, the House of Representatives, and nearly the entire Senate.
A recent Emerson poll shows a lethargic Biden leaving office with an approval rating of 36 percent. Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate who lost the presidential nomination, also effectively resigned with 40 days left in her term.
Harris, the unsuccessful candidate, has been widely criticized by her staff and donors for wasting approximately $2 billion in her 2024 campaign funds.
She ended up performing worse against Trump in 2020 than Biden himself.
Many Democrats believe Biden could have done just as well had he remained in the race in states where he lost significantly.
The Obamas were also accused of invalidating the wishes of 14 million primary voters by excluding Biden from the race — ironically, the ones who paved the way for Biden in 2020. in the same behind-the-scenes, anti-democratic way.
Mr. Obama has come out of comfortable retirement to campaign in 2024, and has shown that President Emeritus Donald Trump is a dictator, a fascist, a tyrant, and, of course, a “racist.” planted all over the country.
Frustrated and ignored, with Trump polling as high as, or even higher than, Kamala Harris, Obama was speaking to voters who were likely to be less informed.
But by the time Harris lost the election, voters had turned away from President Obama's persistent patronage and now-outdated canned speeches about hope and change.
What President Obama didn't mention, but voters knew, was that the border was more secure under President Trump than it was under the Obama or Biden administrations.
Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded countries during the Obama and Biden administrations, but continued to monitor President Trump.
Obama's bizarre vision for a new Middle East aimed to empower Iran as a supposed counterweight to moderate Arab states and ally Israel.
Years ago, Obama invited the Russians to Syria, empowered authoritarian Syria, relentlessly criticized Israel, and largely ignored the violence of Iran's terrorist proxies, Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis.
But since October 7, Israel has retaliated against the massacre of Jewish civilians with an all-out war against Hamas and Hezbollah, nearly neutralizing the once-feared terrorists.
In exchanging airstrikes with Iran, Israel has shown the world that Iran is as militarily weak as its chants and threats are boring and shrill.
Iran is currently on the brink as its terrorist appendages (including, most recently, the Assad dynasty) are collapsing.
As the whole crazy Middle East policy envisioned by Obama melts away, Israel and moderate Arab governments are in the ascendancy.
