Terrifying video shows the moment a car plowed into the living room of a Phoenix home, just as a couple had sat down to eat.
Marcus Holmberg and Sabrina Rivera were in their living room with three of their four dogs when the out-of-control Mustang crashed through a wall, sending them both flying backwards.
Rivera, who was near a couch closest to the wall before the crash, was thrown into the wall after the car appeared to hit him from the side.
The wall was almost completely destroyed, with rubble and debris falling all around them, but Rivera and Holmberg escaped with only minor scrapes and injuries.
“It was like a bomb went off,” Holmberg said. 12News“It just comes out of nowhere and it's there.”
“It happened so quickly. It was so explosive.”
The dogs were unharmed, Holmberg said. Share on his TikTok account.
According to police, the driver of the Mustang (18 years old), whose driving ability was severely impaired at the time of the accident, was arrested.
But the couple has a long road ahead: In addition to repairs to their home, Holmberg said they also have to pay for repairs to their truck.
