Court Convicts Colombian Actor in Double Murder Case
A disturbing incident has surfaced involving a gay couple found dead, with their bodies placed in suitcases abandoned at a well-known tourist location in Britain.
On Monday, a London court found 35-year-old Yostin Andres Mosquera, a Colombian porn actor, guilty of murdering Paul Longworth, 71, and Albert Alfonso. The gruesome events took place in their shared home in Shepherd’s Bush.
According to court records, Mosquera was in a relationship with Alfonso and was, at the time of the incident on July 8, 2024, living with the couple. However, things spiraled into violence due to financial issues, leading to the deaths.
The court dismissed Mosquera’s defense claim that Alfonso had attacked Longworth first, arguing it was an act of self-defense. Police reports indicated that Mosquera had a sexual relationship with Alfonso, which Longworth accepted. There seemed to be no motive for Alfonso to harm Longworth.
As the investigation unfolded, it was revealed that Mosquera bludgeoned Alfonso with a hammer before hiding his body and waiting for Longworth to return from work. Security footage captured the moment Longworth arrived, shortly before Mosquera attacked him, ultimately leading to his death.
Further chilling details emerged when police shared video evidence showing Mosquera engaging in sexual acts with Alfonso prior to the murder. Following the attacks, he recorded himself dancing naked, covered in blood—this video later leaked online.
After dismembering Alfonso’s body and placing the remains in his suitcase, Mosquera was seen acting suspiciously near the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol a few days later. Bystanders noticed blood leaking from the suitcase, prompting them to alert the authorities.
Prosecutors outlined the horrifying findings, revealing that officials located the couple’s remains, including a decapitated head, stored in a freezer back at their London apartment.
Mosquera was quickly apprehended, and investigators linked him to the crime through his internet searches and attempts to access the couple’s finances.
Detective Inspector Neil Mead emphasized the need for community support, particularly within the LGBT community, acknowledging the case’s impact. Another detective, Ollie Stride, remarked on the unsettling nature of the investigation, particularly due to the video evidence.
Mosquera is expected to be sentenced in October, as the community continues to grapple with the implications of this tragic and shocking event.
