Police say a video circulating on social media shows an Amazon delivery driver punching a carjacking suspect in Queens, New York.
The incident happened Sunday in Jamaica, Queens, police said. according to Police said 29-year-old Kevon Wilson punched the female employee multiple times and then dragged her out of the delivery van, according to the New York Post. Wilson then jumped into the driver’s seat, police said.
Police said the 23-year-old woman was stuck in traffic alongside a colleague at the time of the incident, and reportedly grabbed her car keys when the male colleague ran over to protect her, according to the outlet.
A bystander’s video shows the driver’s side door of the van open and a man wearing an Amazon vest punching the alleged carjacker, who is then seen running across the road and back toward the worker.
Wilson then appears to fall to the ground as the female Amazon employee continues to punch him, and is then seen grabbing him and throwing him to the ground.
She then appears to hold her colleague back as he launches more punches at her and can be heard shouting at the would-be thief. (RELATED: Video shows Amazon worker trying to shoot boss at close range but fails)
Wilson then slams the van door with his elbow, opens it again and climbs onto the seat. The woman and her co-worker can be seen trying to drag Wilson outside while continuing to yell at him. The would-be thief throws clothes at the woman and yells some more before the video ends.

The female employee complained of pain in her arms, face and neck but did not receive medical help, sources told The Post.
Wilson was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery, according to the outlet, and has a long history of arrests, including assault, the report said.
He is due to appear in court on July 16. Inmate Records show.
Amazon told the New York Post that it was investigating the incident.
