Serious Car Crash Involving ESPN Analyst Matt Miller Caught on Video

A devastating car accident involving ESPN NFL Draft analyst Matt Miller was recorded and has since come to light. The footage, shared by the California Post, shows Miller’s blue 2023 Ford Bronco driving down a road in Jasper County, Missouri, before it unexpectedly strayed from its lane and hit an oncoming truck around 3:50 p.m. on June 17.

The semi-truck attempted to avoid the collision, but it couldn’t react swiftly enough, resulting in a catastrophic crash. Images from the scene reveal the Bronco skidding several yards before finally coming to a stop in the grass.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s accident report, Miller was wearing his seatbelt, but severe damage to the vehicle caused the belt to snap, leading to his ejection from the Bronco.

Witnesses at the scene described it as horrifying. One individual noted, “I was leaving my sister’s house and saw the Bronco drift into the truck’s lane. The semi tried to avoid it, but they collided. I’ve never seen a car explode like that. I rushed over to the Bronco, but no one was in it. Then I heard a groan behind me.”

They went on to say, “I found a man lying in the grass and immediately called 911.”

The report indicated that Miller sustained serious injuries, including a compound fracture of the left femur, a shattered left patella, and multiple rib fractures. He also “lost a lot of blood,” and tragically, his left arm was amputated.

The cause of the accident was noted as “improper lane use/change” by Miller, although it remains unclear if alcohol or marijuana were factors. The truck driver was unharmed and not under the influence of any substances.

In the weeks following the accident, Miller has spoken out multiple times. Most recently, on July 10, he shared on X that he had undergone several successful surgeries but would be “indefinitely stepping away” from ESPN to focus on his recovery. He expressed gratitude for the prayers and support he has received, asking others to continue keeping him in their thoughts.

However, Miller has also come under intense scrutiny. Some social media users have alleged that he was withholding prize money and charity payments, prompting an investigation by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office into these claims. As of now, he has not responded publicly to these allegations.
