The calm footage shows the mother, accused of slashing the throat of her 11-year-old son after a trip to Disneyland was arrested, showing blood splashing in her hand.
Salisa Ramaraju, 48, looked far away as if in a trance. She is silently walking towards the police officer with a gun drawn on the deck of a California motel, calling her ears, so video of a police bodycam Obtained by law and crime shows.
A sloppy mom without a polka dot sweater and shoes, walks quietly towards the police officers and raises herself without a fight.
“She has blood in her hand,” one of the arrest officers says, as she is handcuffed, according to the clip.
According to the Orange County District Attorney's Office, Ramaraju allegedly murdered his 11-year-old son, Yatin Ramaraju, after a three-day trip to Disneyland last week.
Yatin was found in a bed of Santa Anara Quintyne & Sweets surrounded by Disney souvenirs after calling 911 and confessing to her murder on March 19th, prosecutors said.
The boy seemed dead for several hours.
She told officers over the phone that she had already taken an unspecified number of pills, officials said.
Ramaraj was charged with one count of murder and one count of personal use of a deadly weapon.
She is scheduled to appear in Orange County court on April 17th.
