The suspect who set a sleeping passenger on fire on a Coney Island F train just three days before Christmas sat on a bench and watched her burn to death in a shockingly brutal murder.
Horrifying footage obtained by The Post shows an unidentified man standing inside the door of a subway car as the train idled at the Coney Island-Stilwell Avenue subway station around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. He calmly watched as the flames engulfed the woman. .
A traffic policeman walked by the open door and took out a radio and appeared to be saying something as he continued down the platform.
After the officer passed, the suspect, who police say is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and is about 25 to 30 years old, stands up as if to leave before the clip ends.
The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, brown boots and a dark knit hat with a red band, the NYPD said.
Authorities are offering a $10,000 reward for information that could lead to his arrest.
Investigators believe the woman was asleep when a man who was sitting across from her at the time got up, walked over to her and threw a match at her, officials said.
Police extinguished the fire and paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
Liquor bottles were found lying around the victim, but it is unclear whether they were involved in the fire.
