Ana Navarro Discusses ‘No Kings’ Protest Experience
Ana Navarro, co-host of “The View,” shared her thoughts on a recent “No Kings” protest during a segment on the show. She described the atmosphere at the event, highlighting her belief that “instigators” were present in the crowd.
“I felt really proud of those who came out to protest,” Navarro mentioned. “There were people trying to stir up conflict, yet many in the crowd chose to ignore them, reminding each other to stay calm.”
This protest unfolded across various cities nationwide, aimed at opposing President Donald Trump’s policies while he participated in a military parade marking the 250th anniversary of the U.S. military.
Navarro expressed gratitude towards everyone participating in the demonstration, especially since it was a tough week for Latino and immigrant communities. She thanked her allies for their support during these challenging times.
Other co-hosts of “The View” echoed her sentiments about the protest, with Goldberg noting the diverse support, saying, “Men were standing up for women, and vice versa. Latinos showed up for Black people; everyone was there for each other.” However, she also cautioned participants to be aware of “bad players” mingling in the crowd, reminding them to recognize those who may not share the same intentions.
This discussion highlighted the importance of unity among different communities, emphasizing the need for solidarity in times of division.
