The time for the red carpet is approaching.

On Thursday morning, the 2026 Oscar nominations were revealed, marking the beginning of the final phase of Hollywood’s lengthy awards season.

Daniel Brooks (from The Color Purple) along with Lewis Pullman (featured in The Thunderbolts) read from Liszt at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, California.

The film “Sinners” took the lead with an impressive total of 16 nominations, securing its spot as the most nominated film in Oscar history.

At just 30, Timothée Chalamet is already a significant name after roles in “Call Me By Your Name” and “Completely Unknown,” where he starred alongside legends like Julie Andrews and Faye Dunaway.

Best Actress nominee Jessie Buckley was among the first to highlight her role in “Hamnet.”

Conan O’Brien will be returning for a second stint as the host of the extravagant ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Last year, he explored serious acting in a psychological drama titled “If I Had Legs I’d Kick You,” co-starring Rose Byrne, who is also up for Best Actress.

The 98th Academy Awards will air on ABC on Sunday, March 15th at 7 PM.
