Carson Wentz Sets Historic Milestone with Vikings
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Carson Wentz is poised to make NFL history this Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals. At 32 years of age, he will be the first player ever to start for six different teams in six consecutive seasons.
His journey started with the Philadelphia Eagles, followed by stints with the Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Rams, and Kansas City Chiefs, before landing with the Vikings.
“It sounds crazy when you say it,” Wentz mentioned, reflecting on his unique experience. He added, “It gives me a different perspective—seeing starters, deals, cuts, and backup roles behind future Hall of Famers.” It has certainly shaped how he views the game.
Interestingly enough, Wentz’s last meaningful start was with the Commanders in 2022. Now, as he prepares for week three, there’s a sense of excitement. He said, “It’s been a few years since I played a game like this with real results.”
The Vikings are entering the match with a record of 1-1, while the Bengals stand at 2-0. The game will take place at US Bank Stadium on Sunday at 1 PM.
In other news, JJ McCarthy, a notable player, is facing a recovery period after spraining his ankle during a game against the Falcons.
