Vikings receiver Jordan Addison was arrested on suspicion of DUI on Friday night after he was reportedly “asleep at the wheel” near Los Angeles International Airport. According to the Los Angeles Daily News.
According to the media, Addison, who was driving a white Rolls Royce, was arrested at about 11:36 p.m. after questioning about drunk driving and was released two hours later.
The outcome of the DUI investigation is still unknown.
“We are aware of the arrest of Jordan Addison last Friday and are currently gathering further information regarding the incident,” the Vikings said in a statement Sunday night. According to ESPN:.

He was found asleep at the wheel, according to an arrest report obtained by the Daily News.
Addison began his collegiate career in Pittsburgh and spent his final season at USC with quarterback Caleb Williams, but was also embroiled in legal trouble last offseason and was charged before the start of his first NFL campaign with the Vikings, who selected him in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
He was pulled over in St. Paul, Minnesota around 3 a.m. on July 20, 2023, and charged with speeding and reckless driving after going 140 mph in a 55 mph speed limit zone. ESPN at the time.

Under a subsequent agreement, the reckless driving charge was dropped.
According to ESPN, Addison pleaded guilty to speeding and agreed to pay $686 in fees and fines.

Addison had 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns in his first NFL season, playing in a complementary role alongside top wide receiver Justin Jefferson while playing with the quarterbacks after Kirk Cousins tore his Achilles tendon.
He recorded multiple touchdowns in consecutive games, against the 49ers on Oct. 23 and against the Bengals on Dec. 16.
