Vince Vaughn makes rare appearance with kids at Hollywood Walk of Fame: ‘Most important thing in the world’

Vince Vaughn attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony with his family.

Vaughn was presented with his star on Monday, and was joined by his wife of more than 10 years, Kayla Weber, and their two children, 13-year-old daughter Loughlin and 11-year-old son Vernon.

Vaughn, a Hollywood fixture for decades, thanked his “beautiful wife” for attending the event.

“My beautiful wife, Kayla, I’m so glad you’re here with me right now. I’m so grateful for you and these beautiful children,” Vaughn began, “and thankful for all the laughs we’ve had together. As much as all of this means, you both need to know that you truly mean the most thing in the world to me.”

Vaughn, in his usual joke, said, “You guys aren’t the most lucrative people. You guys don’t give me the access to the things that these companies give me, but having said that, you guys are the most important.”

“My beautiful wife, Kayla, I am so glad you are with me now. I am so grateful for you and these beautiful children.”

Other members of the “Wedding Crashers” star’s family were also in attendance on Monday: Vaughn’s parents, Sharon and Vernon Vaughn, his two sisters, his aunt and “all” of his friends were in attendance for his big day.

Speaking to Fox News Digital ahead of the event, Vaughn said it was “amazing” to have his wife and kids with him on his big day.

“Yeah, it’s been really nice to share it with everyone. It’s good to be able to spend time together and share moments like this,” the actor said.

Vaughn began his speech by talking about how he first became interested in acting: Though he was too young to watch movies, his older sisters took him to see “Animal House” at the cinema, and he said he wanted to make people laugh the way he did.

“[I felt like] I think I can do that and maybe I can make people laugh and have a night where families can talk about stuff and have fun,” he said.
