New York Times writer Mara Gay told MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday that it “threatening us all” by violating a legitimate process for anyone, even if not a citizen.
Gay said, “One of the things you touched, the rage at City Hall from ordinary Americans suggests to me that you have a keen understanding that even if you are not a human, and you are a citizen, that threatens all of us, that it threatens the entire system. He has, but what makes me even more worried is, if this is not a constitutional crisis, what does a constitutional crisis look like?”
She said, “Is this a test case and a trial for the Trump administration to try this with American citizens and try to challenge any way of the Supreme Court orders on Social Security, doges, other issues at the heart of ordinary American democracy?
