Virginia Democrats Strategically Position Spanberger for Her 2028 Presidential Campaign

Virginia Gambit

I find myself reflecting on Virginia again, though, believe me, there’s a broader context to consider.

Narrowing down the Democratic candidates reveals a mix: a handful of women of color in leadership roles, two former intelligence agents masquerading as moderates, and a couple of white men. If we fully understood the corruption surrounding the party’s candidate selection process, we’d likely dismiss many of these individuals right off the bat. Unfortunately, it seems leaders like Crockett, AOC, and Ilhan are out of the running, eliminating the women of color angle.

As for Pete Buttigieg, he’s perceived as too openly gay. Josh Shapiro stands out as a strong contender overall, but he’s deemed too Jewish for some, along with also being too masculine and white. Gavin Newsom seems weighed down by incompetence, personal baggage, and a tendency towards narcissism akin to Trump’s. His reputation as a womanizer doesn’t help his case either. Ultimately, the ruling class isn’t likely to get behind him.

This leaves us with former CIA operatives turned politicians—Michigan’s Senator Elissa Slotkin and Virginia’s newly stripped Governor Abigail Spanberger. And there’s the hopeful angle for Democrats: “the future is female!”

(Just a note, female candidates might be 0-2 historically, but at least Donald Trump, with his “2-0” record against them, won’t be in the mix this time.)

Senator Slotkin lacks executive experience, while governors typically have an upper hand in primaries. Hence, she steps aside.

This development puts Spanberger in a prime spot for 2028.

So, how exactly does she maneuver this?

By executing a purge of the more extreme elements within her party.

I’m not claiming this is all part of some grand strategy. It seems to me that state-level Democrats, aiming to redefine America through questionable legislation, might genuinely hope to turn their aspirations into our collective nightmares.

They appear to take pleasure in proposing laws that would, for instance, restrict white men from getting government contracts. Yes, that’s an actual law in the works. They openly suggest eliminating minimum requirements against serious crimes. Fraud legalization? That’s on their radar too.

The main obstacle? A savvy intelligence officer with ambitions beyond mere destruction. It’s almost laughable but, in context, it feels like chaos is the real priority!

Spanberger will likely present a grand performance by vetoing many of the most outrageous proposals. Meanwhile, they’ve imposed strict limitations on her, ensuring she seems rather moderate by comparison.

Her campaign pitch—crafted for the general election—will tap into the remnants of the far-left Democratic Party that initially propelled her into the governor’s office.

It’s almost poetic, isn’t it?
