In her memoir published posthumously, Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations against Jeffrey Epstein, spoke out against Prince Andrew, claiming he acted as if he was entitled to her and attempted to silence her. Giuffre tragically took her own life in April, but the manuscript remained intact. The release comes amidst heightened pressure on the Trump administration and Congress to disclose documents related to Epstein, particularly following Prince Andrew’s announcement to step back from royal duties.

Prince Andrew has denied the allegations, asserting he never met Giuffre.

Virginia Giuffre talks about being scouted by Ghislaine Maxwell

In “Nobody’s Girl,” Giuffre recounts how Ghislaine Maxwell approached her when she was working at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago as a teenager. She describes how an older woman exploited her interest in massages as a means of manipulation.

Giuffre states that she was exploited and trafficked by Epstein to multiple men, fearing for her life as a sex slave.

Giuffre describes Prince Andrew as someone who behaved as though he had the right to engage with her, detailing an incident where she received $15,000 for her first encounter with him, which happened when she was just 17.

Virginia Giuffre says Prince Andrew silenced her

According to Giuffre, after allegations against Epstein and his associates became public, Prince Andrew retreated into the confines of Buckingham Palace. She alleges he hired online trolls to intimidate her and orchestrated a smear campaign against her.

She had also agreed to a one-year gag order in a civil lawsuit settlement in 2022, aiming to keep the situation away from the public eye during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.

Epstein files released

During his campaign, Trump pledged to release all documentation related to Epstein, including a list of his alleged clients. However, his administration has since backtracked on that promise, now referring to these documents as a “criminal list.”

Republicans have accused their Democratic counterparts of politicizing the situation, with House Speaker Mike Johnson claiming that some files have been imagined rather than obtained. The investigation into these files is overseen by the House of Commons Oversight Committee, which is working to release verified information while safeguarding the identities of victims.

Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.), the committee chairman, has condemned Democrats for conducting a smear campaign while referencing Epstein’s connections to former President Bill Clinton. He emphasized that there is no effort to protect Epstein or his associates.
