Victoria Jones, the daughter of actor Tommy Lee Jones, was found unresponsive at a San Francisco hotel on New Year’s Day, leading to initial speculation about her being intoxicated.
The 34-year-old was discovered on the 14th floor of the Fairmount Hotel by a guest, who, appearing to be under the influence, informed the hotel staff. A source shared details with the Daily Mail.
Emergency responders attempted CPR and summoned an ambulance; however, she was declared dead upon their arrival.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers were dispatched to the hotel around 3:14 a.m. following a report of a medical emergency.
Investigators noted no signs of foul play or drug paraphernalia at the scene. There was also no evidence suggesting that her death was a suicide.
Authorities indicated that the medical examiner would ascertain the cause of death.
Details remain unclear regarding whether she was actually staying at the hotel or how she ended up on the 14th floor.
Victoria was the child of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberly Crawley.
In recent history, she had several run-ins with the law, including multiple arrests over the past year, as documented by The Post.
Specifically, she was arrested in Napa County in April on charges related to interfering with law enforcement, being under the influence of controlled substances, and possession of such substances, according to court records.
She faced further arrests in May and June for domestic assault and elder abuse in Santa Cruz County and Napa County, respectively, and was released on bail afterward.
Jones has maintained a not guilty plea in both Napa County cases, according to court documents.
