Vita Vea did the most athletic thing anyone has done on an NFL field this year

Did you see the most athletic thing anyone did on an NFL field this year during Sunday night's Bucs vs. Cowboys game?

In a game full of great moments, Vea's moment stood out. The Bucks trailed by two points and were up 3rd and six points with two minutes left in the game. Tampa has one timeout, so if Dallas gets this first down, the game is effectively over. Tampa brings a false pressure, but Dallas breaks it up with a quick throw to TE Jake Ferguson in the flat (a trend from Sunday night). Most of the time, this play ends in a first down and the game ends.

But that's not the case with VITA VEA watches.

This is the most incredible play you'll see in the NFL this year. Baer's weight is listed at 347 pounds and he came from the opposite side of the field to make this play.

Repeat.

347 pounds.

from the other side of the field.

With all 22, play gets even crazier! The Bucks have seven potential blitz players lined up near the line of scrimmage, but Dallas is in a 3×1 formation on the left side, so if the Bucks are blitzing, someone from the other side of the field can would have to come. Tampa drops both Vea and EDGE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, while JTS should get a potential CeeDee Lamb route from the single receiver side. This left Bear in the middle of the field, which was a great call for Dallas. A quick throw to the flat overcomes the pressure and takes the ball out of the QB's hands, causing Ferguson to make the first man miss! But Bear had other plans and decided to end the play by doing something even Isaac Newton believed impossible.

Bear reached 14.91 mph on this tackle, which is an incredible number considering he is at least 100 pounds heavier than 95% of the people on the field. He hit Ferguson like a tsunami with this play, and it could have been the play the Bucks used to win the game.

This is another reminder that the greatest athletes in the world are defensive and offensive linemen. Because they do things on a down-to-down basis that no one else would be able to do.

This isn't the first time Veer has participated in coverage in his career. Due to the erratic pressure that Bowles sends, Via will drop into the under area and do terrible things like:

Cherish your moments with Vita Vea, one of the most unique athletes in the NFL.
