Vivek Ramaswamy reportedly filed papers to run for governor of Ohio in the 206th gubernatorial election in 2026.
Ramaswamy filed papers with Ohio Secretary of State on Friday, indicating that he will run for governor. Report By WTVG.
The 39-year-old entrepreneur's campaign reportedly submitted a Treasurer designation, an official document that the candidate must complete before the campaign begins to spend or accept.
Ramaswamy is expected to officially announce it later this month.

The former Republican primary candidate for the former Presidential Republican will begin bidding for the governor of Ohio on February 24th in his Cincinnati home town, according to an Associated Press report.
On February 25th, Lamaswamy will be coming to a local bar in Toledo's Glass city centre and in the suburbs of Cleveland in Strongsville, his website reveals.

So far, the bid for the governor of Lamaswamy has been approved by Ohio Republican Robert Sprague and Ohio Secretary Frank LaRose.
Meanwhile, former Ohio Health Director Amy Acton's Bureau is the only candidate currently running in the Democratic state's governor race.
