Vogue Model Dynus Saxon Faces Murder Charges After Police Find Dad With Knife Lodged In Chest

Police have arrested Vogue model Dynus Saxon on murder charges in relation to the stabbing death of a man in New York City.

Dynus was charged with second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon in connection with the demise of 35-year-old Kadeem Grant, according to TMZ. Police said Grant was stabbed Sunday afternoon in the Bronx in a fatal incident and was found with a knife embedded in his chest, according to TMZ.

Police said they were called to an apartment building in the Bronx and arrived to find Grant prone on the couch, according to TMZ. There was a knife embedded in his chest and evidence of cuts to his feed and hands, according to law enforcement. Police said Grant was transported to nearby Lincoln Hospital for medical care. In spite of their best efforts, Grant succumbed to his injuries and died shortly afterwards. Initial reports indicated that Grant was a father, but no further information about his family has been publicly shared.

Dynus’ modeling credits included appearances in Vogue Italia and L’Officiel and wearing clothes for Calvin Klein and Levi’s, as well as several appearances at movie premieres for “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “The Batman.” He had a modest following on social media, and was repped by One Management. 20-year-old Dynus was taken into custody for murder Monday, according to TMZ. It’s unclear if Dynus and Grant were known to one another, or how police connected Dynus to the alleged crime. The model’s mother issued a statement to the New York Daily News and maintained that her son did not commit murder, the outlet reported.

Information about future court appearances has not yet been shared.
