VP-Elect JD Vance Gives Son’s Cub Scout Troop Tour of Capitol

Vice President-elect J.D. Vance gave his son Ewan's Cub Scout troop a tour of the U.S. Capitol on Friday, according to multiple sources.

NewsNation Washington correspondent Joe Kalil wrote: post X reported that a spokesperson for Sen. Vance (R-Ohio) confirmed that Vance was “returning to Washington and returning to the Capitol” to lead a tour of his son's Boy Scout troop.

Reese Gorman, political reporter for NOTUS, also said: I wrote A source confirmed that Vance was in the District of Columbia “guiding his son's Cub Scout troop around the Capitol.”


Vance, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, will be the country's first millennial vice president.

In President-elect Donald Trump's victory speech Wednesday morning, Vance called Trump's victory over Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential election “the greatest political reversal in the history of the United States.”

Mr. Vance thanked Mr. Trump for the trust he had “placed” in him.

“Thank you for the confidence you have placed in me. I believe we have witnessed the greatest political resurgence in the history of the United States,” Vance said.

Vance also said that under the Trump-Vance administration, Trump and Vance “will never stop fighting” for the American people, their dreams and the “future” of our children.
