Rapper Waka Flocka Flame mocked supporters of President Biden at a concert this week, telling them to “get out” so he can “party” for President Donald Trump.
“Anyone who voted for Joe Biden, get out,” the Grammy-nominated artist told the crowd at Club Lake in Salt Lake City on Monday.
“I’ll see you all at the bingo game,” the 38-year-old added, poking fun at the 81-year-old commander-in-chief’s age.
The announcement drew applause and some mild booing, but no one headed for the exits. According to a video posted on TikTok:.
“We gonna party for our f****** president now, T24, a f****** party,” the “Oh Let’s Do It” rapper said, referring to former President Trump.
Biden’s criticism garnered significant support online, with many social media commenters declaring themselves new fans of the Atlanta-based musician.
“I’ve become a Vodka Flocka fan,” one commenter wrote.
“I don’t like rap or hip hop but I’m gonna subscribe to his YouTube music,” said another.
Flame, whose real name is Juaquin James Malphus, is just one of a host of well-known hip-hop stars who have voiced their support for President Trump’s reelection.
Rappers such as Ice Cube, Lil Wayne and Kanye West enthusiastically supported Trump during the 2016 election, and that trend has continued in this election, with performers such as Lil Pump, Benny the Butcher and Chicago MC Badman Kevo giving his support. He has the portrait of the 45th president tattooed on his thigh. A trending post on Instagram.
