Rob Page makes one change from the win over Finland in the semi-final: Kieffer Moore in, David Brooks out. That could mean a switch to 3-4-1-2, or Johnson may become one of the roaming No10s.

So: 2016, 2021, 2022 and now, potentially, 2024. Don’t worry, this isn’t a celebration of new, unelected prime minsters*. These are the years in which Wales have played at major tournaments, having previously not done so since 1958. Tonight – and imagine the confused expression if you had pitched this to a Wales fan, let’s say our own beloved MBM regular Matt Dony, when Wales started their Euro 2016 campaign with a scruffy 2-1 win in Andorra – they could reach their fourth major tournament in eight years.

This is a golden age of Welsh football, no ifs and buts. And while the expansion of tournaments has helped, no doubt, four in five attempts would brook no argument – especially as they got to the semi-finals of one of them.

Tonight’s game is too close to call. The Fifa rankings have Wales 29th, Poland 30th, and the two teams had almost identical records in qualification.

They then romped to victory in their semi-finals. Wales beat Finland 4-1, Poland stuffed Estonia 5-1. Robert Lewandowski scored none of their five goals which, depending on your perspective, is either good news for Wales or unbelievably ominous.

Full time: Georgia 0-0 Greece

The playoffs in Tbilisi will go into extra time. Admittedly, it looks pretty lively in the sense of a barroom brawl, and as I type someone is pointing a laser at referee Szymon Marciniak and he’s angrily curling his head. . How did he know? Maybe he really has eyes in the back of his head.

Harry Wilson had the ball against Finland And he will be the key player tonight. “Human” is the operative word. That refreshingly mischievous child is now 27 years old.

“I thought Wales looked a lot better.” “We have a nimble front three of Johnson, Brooks and Wilson,” David Bowen said. “It’s a little disappointing that big player Keith A was chosen to start. If he was away, fair play.” The page has returned to print. However, when it comes to guessing the moment when he will be bandaged. It makes for an interesting side game. I hope I’m wrong.”

You probably know more than me, but is there any chance that Paige will be in it for the long haul? Given that games tend to open up towards the end, I don’t see any more focus on specialist subs in football. I’m always a little surprised that I haven’t.

preamble

So 2016, 2021, 2022, and now potentially 2024. please do not worry. This is not a celebration of a new unelected Prime Minister*. These were the years Wales appeared in a major tournament, having not done so since 1958. Imagine the bemused look on their faces tonight if I pitched this to a Welsh fan, say our beloved MBM regular Matt Donnie. The Euro 2016 campaign started with a disastrous 2-1 win for him in Andorra, which could have seen him reach his fourth major tournament in eight years.

This is a golden age of Welsh football, with no ifs or buts. And while the expansion of the tournament has undoubtedly helped, especially in one of which he reached the semi-finals, he was unable to thwart the debate in four out of five attempts.

Tonight’s game is too close to call. In the FIFA rankings, Wales were 29th and Poland 30th, with both teams having almost the same qualifying results.

They then won in the semi-finals. Wales defeated Finland 4-1 and Poland defeated Estonia 5-1.Robert Lewandowski didn’t score any of his five goals, but depending on how you look at it, that’s good news for Wales or… Incredibly creepy.

Wales narrowly win with home advantage Where is Zasaurus in the snow, this could be a long night for the nervous system, especially given Cardiff’s big night record. And that’s for neutrals.
