Wall Street Executives Flock to Donald Trump

Wall Street executives, feeling the sting of the Biden administration’s anti-business policies, are flocking to former President Donald Trump.

POLITICO report Many Wall Street executives who had previously vowed to abandon Trump have now begun to support the former president’s reelection campaign.

“I’m not convinced that anyone really believes he’s a threat to democracy,” said Hal Lambert, founder of Point Bridge Capital and a Republican donor who supported Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R-Fla.) presidential campaign but has not endorsed Trump.

Lambert is not alone.

Hedge fund executive Nelson Peltz, hotelier Robert Bigelow and Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman have all endorsed Trump.

Hedge fund billionaires Bill Ackman and Citadel’s Ken Griffin are beginning to consider Trump.

Wall Street and Silicon Valley companies Become He has also been “hostile” toward Biden appointees, including Federal Trade Commission Chairman Lina Khan and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler.

John Castimatidis, a New York radio station owner and real estate investor, said Trump was “a much better choice. Just compare four years of Trump to three years of Biden.”

Eric Levine, a Republican fundraiser and former senior Treasury Department official, said the criminal case against the former president has upended his previous anti-Trump stance.

Sean Maguire, a partner at Sequoia Capital, has pledged to donate $300,000 following Trump’s conviction.

The Trump campaign said it raised $141 million in May, 38 percent of which came after the May 30 verdict.

“Donors big and small are flocking to support President Trump because they recognize that Joe Biden is weak and dishonest and that America cannot afford four more years of his failed policies,” Trump spokeswoman Caroline Leavitt said.

Silicon Valley entrepreneurs are also starting to warm to Trump.

“Trump has said he’s going to be the crypto president,” said Trevor Traina, a Silicon Valley tech executive and former Trump ambassador.

“President Trump has made it clear that Biden and Gensler’s anti-crypto crusade will stop within the first hour of the inauguration of his second term,” said Jacob Helberg, an adviser to analytics firm Palantir.
