Woman Wanted in Murder Case Evades Arrest with Alleged Accomplices

A woman suspected of murder has been on the run for weeks, with investigators suggesting she has relied on a network of alleged accomplices to evade capture. Isabel Rose Johnson, 38, is wanted for the murder of Jason Christopher Coultart. An arrest warrant was issued on June 26, and she has been trying to stay out of sight from law enforcement ever since.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office describes Johnson as a “master manipulator” who counts on others to keep her hidden. So far, five individuals have been detained in connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder.

Florida Woman Fleeing from Police

While the search for Johnson intensifies, investigators have released several images from surveillance footage, along with a mugshot taken in Carroll County, Georgia. These images are part of an effort to gather tips from the public.

Interestingly, Johnson has changed her appearance by wearing different hairstyles, hats, and glasses, making it difficult for law enforcement to track her down.

In interactions with others, she has used various names, including “Hurley,” “Jessica Elaine Bowman,” and “Dennis,” seemingly to confuse anyone who might help her.

On June 25, authorities discovered Coultart’s body buried on a property in Freeport, Florida. He had been reported missing a month earlier, on May 24, after last being seen leaving his university condominium.

Victim Remembered

Coultart, 43, leaves behind a son. Sheriff Michael Adkinson has made it clear that anyone found aiding Johnson will face serious consequences. “If you provide her shelter, hide her, or mislead law enforcement, you will be held responsible. This is a murder case, and we won’t let anyone obstruct our investigation,” he stated.

In a collaborative effort, multiple law enforcement agencies are offering a $16,000 reward for any information that could lead to Johnson’s arrest.
