Images circulating online show the family of vice presidential candidate Gov. Tim Walz openly supporting former President Trump.
The photo, shared online by Nebraska Republican gubernatorial candidate Charles Herbster, shows eight people wearing T-shirts that read “Nebraska Waltz Supports Trump.”
“Tim Waltz's family in Nebraska wants to share something with you…” Herbster wrote to X.

A representative for Herbster told Fox News Digital that the people in the photo are related to Waltz through Francis Waltz, the brother of Waltz's grandfather. Fox News Digital has reached out to the Trump and Harris campaigns.
Family members told Fox News they have a “distant” relationship with Waltz and have never met or spoken to him. The person in the photo, who asked not to be named, said they support Trump because he “stands for our values.”
Trump responded to the image on Truth Social, suggesting he plans to “meet” with Jeff Walz, the Minnesota governor's brother.
Walz posted a series of statements on social media last week about the Democratic vice presidential nominee.
“I disagree 100% with all of his ideologies,” Jeff Waltz posted in a Facebook message about his brother Friday night.

“My family was not informed [sic] He was selected and then denied security a few days later,” he added.
“Help MAGA…Let’s get on stage. President Trump “And support him…; help save this country…” a Trump supporter wrote on Jeff's post.
“I've seriously considered doing that!” Jeff replied. “I'm torn between doing it and not involving my family.”

Jeff, who grew up in rural Nebraska before moving to the East Coast and now lives in Florida, also posted about how he found out his brother had been selected as Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate.

“My only objection, and I support this 100 percent, is that I found out on the radio that he'd been selected as the vice presidential nominee, which was unfortunate,” Jeff said, “and I felt like they should have at least given us some advance notice and had some sort of security in place, because I think that's a big deal.”
