Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, the Democratic vice presidential candidate, posted on X on Wednesday agreeing to debate on October 1st on CBS News.
Waltz’s response was in response to a CBS News X-Post listing possible dates for Waltz and Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. J.D. Vance to debate on the network.
Tim Waltz reposted the graphic, writing, “See you October 1st, JD.”

Vance has not yet publicly responded to the debate proposal, and he and the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

According to a Harris campaign official, “President-elect Harris has accepted an invitation from CBS to participate in the vice presidential debate on October 1st. Governor Walz looks forward to debating with J.D. Vance if he is available.”
According to CBS, four dates have been proposed: September 17th, September 24th, October 1st and October 8th.
