Wan’Dale Robinson Hits 1,000-Yard Mark in Giants’ Victory

LAS VEGAS — Wan’Dale Robinson took the field on Sunday against the Raiders at Allegiant Stadium, just 99 receiving yards shy of hitting 1,000 for the first time in his career.

By halftime, he was already well on his way, needing just two yards to make that number a reality in a game that ended with the Giants triumphing 34-10.

The fourth-year wide receiver made an impressive impact, catching nine passes for 97 yards in the first half and wrapping up the game with 11 catches totaling 113 yards. On the Giants’ third possession of the second half, he secured a 9-yard catch that pushed him past the milestone.

“That’s my guy,” quarterback Jackson Dart expressed. “I have complete faith in him. He really competes, and I’m genuinely happy for him. He deserves all the recognition.”

Robinson, however, seemed more thrilled about securing the win than the personal achievement.

“A long flight home isn’t great if it follows a loss,” he remarked. “Winning brings a sense of pride because you feel like you made a difference.”

Robinson’s previous best season came in 2024, when he caught 93 passes for 699 yards and three touchdowns. This year, he’s already notched 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns.

“I’ve always been seen as just a slot guy, you know? People don’t expect you to hit big numbers,” he said. “But I wanted to prove to myself that I could perform at any level.”

Giants interim head coach Mike Kafka, who has coached Robinson since he entered the league, was excited about his progress.

“One Dale… we entered the league together in the same draft class, and it’s been incredible to see him grow. He began mainly as a slot receiver, but due to injuries, I asked him to step outside a bit more, and he took on the challenge,” Kafka mentioned.

“He’s really expanded his abilities as an outside receiver while still holding the dynamic skills to create mismatches when he plays inside. Achieving 11 catches and over 1,000 yards that day? It’s just the cherry on top. I couldn’t be prouder of him.”
