Former President Barack Obama told allies that President Joe Biden’s path to victory has narrowed significantly, according to multiple reports.

of The Washington Post President Obama has maintained that he believes Biden should seriously consider dropping out of the presidential race.

Obama is not the first to urge the 81-year-old Biden to step down. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) reportedly told President Joe Biden in a private phone call that he could not beat former President Donald Trump in November’s election.
