Warren publishes a report with 130 allegations about Elon Musk’s time in charge

Warren releases 130-accusation report on Elon Musk's tenure

Sen. Elizabeth Warren Raises Questions About Elon Musk’s Tenure

On Tuesday, Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) released a report detailing 130 allegations surrounding billionaire Elon Musk’s role as a special government employee in the Trump administration, suggesting that he has benefitted from this position.

According to Warren, during his time at the White House, where he was part of the Office of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk faced significant conflicts of interest due to his ownership stakes in companies like Tesla, SpaceX, and Neuralink.

The report categorizes the 130 claims under various headings, such as “Using Government Resources to Advance Musk’s Businesses,” “Regulations and Approvals Favoring Musk’s Interests,” and “Lack of Public Transparency.”

“Musk and those acting on his behalf have engaged in numerous questionable activities that spark concerns regarding corruption, ethics, and conflicts of interest,” the report asserts.

During the early months of President Trump’s second term, Musk’s work as a special employee predominantly focused on attempts to shrink the federal government and reduce expenditures.

The tech entrepreneur’s actions have drawn significant criticism, especially for his engagement with federal entities like the Treasury Department and USAID.

In response, a representative for Musk stated, “In just over 100 days, Elon Musk has done more to enhance the country and improve the lives of Americans than Senator Warren has in her entire career. Senators are very adept at producing piles of paper and crafting reports that few will take the time to read.”

Details regarding immediate responses from Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, and others have not yet emerged.
