Warren to Trump: Fire Musk

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) urged President Trump to fire Elon Musk, and meanly cited the leader's comments during his speech to Congress on Tuesday.

“I agree with Donald Trump that unelected officials should be fired,” Warren wrote in X's post.

“Let's start with Elon Musk.”

In Trump's speech, he considered Warren “Pocahontas,” suggesting that the era of “bureaucratic rule” ended at the start of his second administration.

Several Democrats in the audience read as “fake” and raised signs pointing to Elon Musk, who is in charge of federal spending cuts led by Government Efficiency (DOGE).

Thousands of probation workers and other government officials were suddenly removed from their posts during Trump's first few months of office.

Earlier in the day, Warren, along with 38 other lawmakers, wrote a letter urging Trump to drive Musk out.

“All decisions you have made about people who appear to benefit Musk and many target individuals and agencies investigating or prosecuting Musk or his company for illegal conduct. Tuesday's letter. “Many of these individuals have legal protections that determine why and how they are removed from the office.”

Warren has consistently called on the Trump administration to demolish the Consumer Financial Protection Agency and to make efforts to change Federal Reserve standards in recent months.
