WATCH: FBI whistleblower exposes corruption at shady agency in NEW interview

More than two weeks after the attempted assassination of President Trump, it’s still not clear how a 20-year-old with no military or law enforcement experience managed to evade the Secret Service.

According to Steve Friend, a former FBI agent and now whistleblower, the FBI doesn’t intend to reach a conclusion in its investigation into the assassination attempt on President Trump because that’s not what the bureau is about.

“The FBI loves to make excuses: ‘We can’t disclose our sources or methods,’ ‘This investigation is ongoing,’ and ‘We’re going to keep it going for as long as possible until people lose interest or we find something else that will give us a headline boost,'” he says. “It’s become so clear that they’re just a political partisan organisation, particularly with regards to Donald Trump, that I have no confidence that they’re actually going to pursue any kind of honest and forthright investigation,” he continues.

“Attorney Wray’s testimony yesterday seemed more candid than he has been in previous congressional hearings,” said Steve Baker, an investigative journalist and Blaze Media correspondent. “Did you get that impression, or did you get something else?”

Friend speculates that Wray has become more outspoken because this time it’s the Secret Service, not the FBI, that’s under attack.

“I think there’s a lot of attention on the Secret Service at this point, and I think he’s felt a little bit at ease at that point,” he explains. “Overall, Christopher Wray has always done the exact same thing, and I think that’s an outgrowth of two things: he’s a politically partisan guy, and he’s not a results-oriented guy.”

The American people “want to see an effective investigation actually conducted and to have all the answers.” [Wray] He doesn’t think of it as success. He thinks of the process. The process is the success.”

“What do you think about Christopher Wray?” asks Jill.

Wray “gave up a $9.2 million annual salary before becoming FBI director to take a $200,000-a-year job and a 10-year term that would take him away from his family,” Friend said. “He sacrificed for a ’cause,’ and that cause was the full realization of Cultural Marxism within the FBI.”

“You can see that in their hiring criteria. … Right now they’re hiring people who are 50 pounds overweight and who call themselves woke. And just recently they hired someone into their Washington bureau who is actually a heroin addict,” he explains.

“At this point, do you think this is a doomed end?” asked Matthew Peterson, editor-in-chief of Blaze Media.

“Well, I think the institution itself is hopeless because the reforms it needs to recover from the crisis are so dramatic,” for example.[reducing] Its footprint from the perspective of the head office.”[getting] Abolish the intelligence division entirely.”[getting] “Back to actually investigating crime.” [concerning] “They should take it upon themselves to gather information on the American people,” Friend said.

But there is one simple thing the federal government can do to make the FBI effective again: take away their guns.

“The FBI’s origins were as an unarmed investigative agency,” Friend explains, “and now the FBI can go back to that and, as Christopher Wray says, do what it’s always been about: supporting local law enforcement.”
