A violent altercation broke out at a Las Vegas casino Sunday night as the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers to win their second straight Super Bowl.
In the video, a group of four men, including Chiefs and 49ers fans, are seen wrestling with each other in an open area of the casino. At one point in the video, one man is put in a headlock, another punches him, and someone else tries to stop the fight.
new york post report The cause of the fight is unknown, but it began shortly after the final whistle in the Super Bowl, which saw the Chiefs beat San Francisco 25-22.
But there was a sense of tension on the soccer field Sunday night. Travis Kelce, who became even more famous for his relationship with Taylor Swift, became enraged after being sent off the field and shoved Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
It’s unclear what Kelce specifically said, but it appears he was angry and frustrated with Reid’s play-calling. Not only did he yell at the head coach, but he also seemed to throw Reid off balance, according to the outlet. Page 6.
The situation calmed down when running back Jerick McKinnon stepped in and removed Kelce. Shortly after Patrick Mahomes completed a 52-yard pass to Mecole Hardman, Kelce was dragged off the field, creating a golden scoring opportunity for the Chiefs at San Francisco’s 9-yard line.
However, after the Chiefs’ win, the two appeared to have reconciled. After the final whistle, Kelce was seen giving Reed a hug, and Reed was seen patting the player on the back.
“As much as he hit me, I hit him. He caught me off balance,” Reed said.
Kelsey tried to cover up the awkward situation on camera by saying, “I just told him how much I love him.” Kelce has now been in the Super Bowl ring with Mahomes three times, leading some to suggest this is the beginning of a dynasty in Kansas City.
Kelce commented on how his team felt after the 49ers were forced to kick a field goal in overtime, saying, “There was no doubt in my mind that they had to kick a field goal. “At that point, we knew we had it. We have the best quarterback.” ”
