Last weekend’s UFC 300 drew millions of fans eager to see the world’s best fighters square off in the Octagon in Las Vegas.
There were several memorable moments during the event, but the most memorable was Brazilian lightweight champion Renato Moicano’s post-fight speech.
After his big win over Jalin Turner, the fighter grabbed the microphone from Joe Rogan and yelled,
“First of all, I love America! I love the Constitution! I love the First Amendment! …Let me tell you something, don’t worry about your fucking country. If you are, read the lessons of Ludwig von Mises and the 6 lessons of the Austrian School of Economics, you bastard!”
For those unfamiliar with Ludwig von Mises, he was an Austrian-American economist, historian, logician, and sociologist who defended free market capitalism and decried socialism. did.
Logan, who has become a prominent political voice, can be seen grinning the entire time the microphone is in Moicano’s hands.
Dave Rubin certainly shares Logan’s feelings.
“This is the America I want to live in,” he said, echoing Moicano’s speech. “We have to save this crazy country.”
