Former President Trump is scheduled to speak at the Israeli-American Council's (IAC) 2024 national conference on Thursday night in Washington, DC.
Trump is scheduled to headline the annual conference with a speech commemorating the victims of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel that sparked the ongoing war. Throughout his campaign, Trump has sought to portray himself as more pro-Israel than Biden and his Democratic rival, Vice President Harris. Trump also spoke at the IAC conference in 2019 while in the White House.
The “Fighting Anti-Semitism in America” event will also feature Miriam Adelson, the widow of longtime Republican donor Sheldon Adelson, and other Jewish leaders.
“While Kamala Harris has a troubled history of association with individuals and groups with ties to anti-Semitism, President Trump has been a staunch supporter of religious freedom and protections for all religions,” the former president's campaign said.
The event is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM ET.
