Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) was recently added to President Trump’s growing list of running mate candidates.
Rubio has not discussed the position directly with Trump or anyone on his campaign, but the senator said he would consider the opportunity “an honor.”
Apparently, that shocked ABC News host Jonathan Karl.
“You said you were honored to be on his ticket. Really?” Karl asked, confused.
“Well, I think whoever offered the opportunity to serve this country as vice president should be honored,” Rubio said. “I’m in the Senate because I want to serve my country. Being vice president is an important way to serve my country.”
“Look what happened to the last man. When a mob stormed the Capitol and literally called for Mike Pence to be hanged, Trump shouted, ‘Hang Mike Pence.’ ,” Karl fired back.
“Let me just say this: When Donald Trump was president of the United States, this country was safer. It was more prosperous. Had relationships in parts of the world…I think this country and the world was a better place when he was president, and I’d like to see him go back to being white. House,” Rubio said.
He then talked about how Joe Biden was a “disaster” and burst into tears.
“Every day we wake up and face a new crisis, a new conflict. Everything has flared up since Joe Biden took office,” he said. “Afghanistan has collapsed, Ukraine has been invaded, and now the Philippines and China are on the brink of something bad…not to mention the threat to Taiwan. It’s happening in.”
“You’re not saying this is happening because of Biden?” Karl asked.
“Absolutely, yes,” Rubio boldly stated.
“Did Russia invade Ukraine because of Biden?” Karl asked, shocked. “President Trump suggested we should cut a deal that effectively gives Putin what he wants in Ukraine.” I’m doing it,” he added.
“That’s not true. What he said is that he wants to end the conflict,” Rubio corrected, adding, ” teeth The negotiations will be based on “Russia is not going to occupy all of Ukraine, and Ukraine is not going to return Russia to the way it was in 2014.”

“That’s a big deal, John Karl.”
