A Maryland suspect was arrested Friday on suspicion of stealing a Maryland Department of Transportation (DOT) tow truck.
“We responded to an incident on I-95/I-495,” the Maryland Department of Transportation told Fox News Digital. “It was,” he said.
According to police, the tow truck driver was not injured in the incident.

Aerial video of the chase shows the driver leading police on an intense high-speed chase that lasted more than an hour from Calverton, Maryland, to Silver Spring, where the suspect was taken into custody, according to WUSA-TV.
The suspect crashed into at least 11 vehicles during the pursuit, including at least one police vehicle, the department said.
WUSA reported that the suspect at times collided with power lines during the chase, but continued on his way.

The suspect was arrested after a stop in a wooded area in Silver Spring. Video shows officers breaking the window and restraining the driver.
