Michigan police officers performed a life-saving feat to help a motorist experiencing a medical emergency along a busy road.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office released video of the terrifying incident, which happened on September 12th at approximately 2:18 p.m.
Authorities received a report of a silver GMC Sierra driving erratically, which led Sheriff Nicole Miron and Deputy Anthony Gross to respond to the busy roadway.

As Miron and Gross approached the GMC Sierra, they attempted to stop the erratic driver, but the 63-year-old male driver did not stop and continued driving at approximately five miles per hour, police said.

Body camera footage from Miron's point of view showed two officers pulling up next to the driver, who police said “appeared dazed and unable to comprehend requests.”
Authorities said the driver eventually applied the brakes, slowing the vehicle further.

In a brave act, Milon climbed out of the driver's side window while the truck was moving.
“Luckily, I'm very small. When I went through the window, it was a big front window, so I was able to slide through. I don't think the gun or any of the equipment hit him. I just slid through. My small size and the fact that it was a two-seater car helped,” Miron said. He told WXYZ.

“I commend Deputy Miron for taking a risk to help a citizen in need and protect other drivers on the roadway,” Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said in a statement. “Her quick thinking and selfless actions allowed us to safely end a situation that could have turned tragic.”
