Both Greg Gutfeld and Roseanne Barr quickly left mainstream comedy when the comedy industry fell under the control of the radical left. On a recent episode of the Roseanne Barr Podcast, the two discussed the “massive cultural shift” that has seen comedy disappear from the comedy industry.
“They’re just drowning in things that aren’t funny,” Barr said, referring to comedians who pander to the woke.
Gutfeld said comedians who have taken a knee have something in common. “They’re scared.”
But there is also something in common with those who, like Mr. Barr, refuse to be silenced and controlled. It’s “freedom to say what you want.” [they] want. ”
“In the past, the left and liberals made concessions to [freedom to speak freely] You put it up and we snatched it,” he said, referring to the conservative comedian. “I see how unpleasant left-wing comedians can be. They know there’s a line they can’t cross. In the meantime, you and I can say whatever we want.”
And it’s that freedom to speak freely that makes Greg Gutfeld “the No. 1 host in late night comedy,” according to Dave Rubin.
“It’s everyone versus woke people,” he says. “They’re destroying everything on all sorts of insane levels.”
