Watch: Trump speaks on Ukraine to coalition of governors

President Trump spoke to the National Governors Association from the White House on Friday morning.

His comments followed a speech in front of the Republican Governor's Association on Thursday, when the president took over Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) with his support behind Rep. Byron Donald (R-FLA.) . However, lawmakers have not yet announced their bids.

Notable names found in the rooms include democratic government. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Wes Moore of Maryland, Andy Besher of Kentucky, Jared Police of Colorado, Kathy Hochul of New York, and GOP Govs. Brian Kemp of Georgia, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas, Kim Reynolds of Iowa, and Mike Brown and DeSantis of Indiana.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services, Doug Burgham, Secretary of the Interior, Director of National Intelligence, Director of Tarsi Gabbard, Secretary of Agriculture Brook Rollins, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Attorney General Pam Bondy, and Scott Bescent. The Secretary of the Treasury and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lieseldin were also present.

The speech appears to be approaching Russia's President Vladimir Putin, moving from the Trump administration's move to end the war in Ukraine. Trump has held Ukraine responsible for the war for almost three years and criticised Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky for his leadership.
