On Tuesday's broadcast of Fox News Channel's “Faulkner Focus,” Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-N.Y.) argued for defunding sanctuary cities and violating the law by making sanctuary university campuses sanctuaries. He said that was not allowed.
Tenney said it was a “great idea” for incoming border czar Tom Homan to threaten to prosecute anyone who obstructs deportation proceedings. Needless to say, we should stop funding these cities that perpetuate sanctuary city laws. Sanctuary city laws are against the law. It's not about upholding the rule of law. We cannot allow local governments and some college campuses to actually violate or flaunt our laws. That's how society is built. Our Constitution is based on upholding the rule of law and ensuring that they are enforced. ”
She continued, “Tom Homan is going to enforce it. These jurisdictions and those who try to block the deportation of illegal aliens should be held accountable and prosecuted. .”
