Tulsi Gabbard Sounds Alarm on Nuclear Threat

Tulsi Gabbard’s Director of National Intelligence recently issued a stark warning about the dangers of global conflict, stating that we may be closer to a “Nuclear Holocaust” than ever before.

This alarming message was shared by President Trump’s Intelligence Director in a three-minute video message released on social media. It followed a visit to Japan, a nation that faced devastation from a nuclear attack in 1945.

Gabbard emphasized that “this is the reality of what we are facing.” She addressed the ongoing crises, highlighting the need for awareness and action.

Reflecting on her visit to Hiroshima, she noted the lasting impacts of nuclear warfare and the immense fear caused by such destructive power.

“At this moment, we are closer to nuclear annihilation than ever,” she claimed. Gabbard criticized political leaders who, in her view, recklessly escalate tensions without consideration for the risks involved.

She suggested that these leaders may feel safe, believing they can access shelters when danger looms. Therefore, Gabbard urged the public to speak out against what she described as madness.

Her remarks came as the Trump administration continued to engage in nuclear negotiations with Iran. Despite progress in talks, there remains skepticism about whether Iran will halt all uranium enrichment.

Trump expressed uncertainty about a possible agreement, admitting, “I don’t know” when asked if he believed Iran would comply with the nuclear deal.

He further indicated a feeling of disappointment, commenting that he had previously been more optimistic but felt less so now.

Gabbard’s warnings also coincide with ongoing U.S. efforts to mediate ceasefire talks in international conflicts involving Russia and Ukraine, as well as Israel and Gaza.
