We Enacted Same Gun Ban Gov. Grisham Is Pushing – 3 Years Ago

On Friday, Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller (D) responded to Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s (D) amended order banning concealed carry in city parks and playgrounds, which the city of Albuquerque did three years ago. He explained that guns are prohibited in the park.

He noted that the ban faces litigation.

Grisham issued his first order on September 8, banning concealed and open carry in many New Mexico cities. The order was almost immediately sued, and on September 13, a Biden-appointed judge issued a temporary restraining order blocking the concealed and open carry ban. .

Two days later, on September 15, Grisham filed a revised order narrowing the scope of the concealed and overt carry ban to apply only to city parks and playgrounds.
