Just some of the biggest stars that will be grace the track on this year’s 57 laps include two-time Miami Grand Prix winner Max Verstappen, 2024 Champion Land Norris and major contender/Norris McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
This year alone, Piastri has won three races in Jeddah, Bahrain and Shanghai. As a result, the 24-year-old Australian leads the 2025 championship lead with Verstappen and Norris.
However, the trio is far from the only icon heading for Magic City this May. There are also Charles Leclerc of Monaco and George Russell and Lewis Hamilton of the UK.
In total, a team of 10 people compete in Miami. They race McLaren, Ferrari HP, Red Bull Racing, Mercedes, Aston Martin, BWT Alpine, Moneygram, Racing Bulls, Williams Racing and Kicksawber.

Formula 1 Grand Prix Event 2025 Schedule
Let’s take a quick look at what’s going on in Miami from Friday to Sunday.
Friday It will serve as a training day for racers. They are familiar with the track and will improve their qualifying round setup from 12:30 to 1:30. At 4:30, they begin the sprint qualifiers.
Saturday We will pit all 20 participants in the 62-mile sprint race and the qualifying match at 4pm to decide where to start. Think of it as a race that increases your chances of winning in actual races.
Sunday It’s the main event. The Grand Prix starts at 4pm

How to watch Formula 1 Grand Prix 2025
If you can’t make it to your home town of hurricanes, dolphins or heat this weekend, you can tune it out of the comfort of your own home.
Practices will be broadcast on ESPN U, and Sprint qualifiers can be found on ESPN+ and ESPNews.
When everything is said and done, ABC, Disney+ and ESPN+ will hold the Grand Prix on Sunday.
