We Have Trump to Thank for Trudeau’s Departure

Appearing on Fox News Channel's “The Faulkner Focus” on Monday, Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) said Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's sudden resignation earlier in the day was due to incoming Donald Trump. He said it was the president's fault.

The Florida Republican says Prime Minister Trudeau has concluded that he is not “qualified” to serve as the next president of the United States.

“In the South they would say, Mr. Harris, bless his heart,” she said. “He's been struggling… As you said, Prime Minister Trudeau's resignation is not surprising. It's been a while. He's at the bottom of Canada in terms of policy and Canadians are tired of it. You mentioned the border situation in Ottawa. We know that a terrorist organization has been discovered in Ottawa that poses a national security threat to the American people. We have trade disputes in our favor, whether it's timber or potatoes. There are a number of products for which we have struggled to negotiate trade deals.”

She added: “So I think we're seeing a realignment happening in Canada, just like in other parts of the world where people are fed up with tyranny.” Look at what happened to the truck driver who opposed Canadian policy and had his bank account seized. This is truly a global reorganization that puts sovereign nations first. And I think we have President Donald Trump to thank for that. Because, as you mentioned, and what Prime Minister Trudeau failed to recognize, was that he went to Mar-a-Lago. And I think he sat across the table from President-elect Donald Trump and said, “You know, I don't think I'm qualified to deal with this issue.” I think that's why we're watching him exit from stage left. ”
