Alex Bruzewitz, a prominent figure in social media for Donald Trump’s campaign, discussed the issue of “transgender-inspired violence” in America during a SiriusXM interview with Breitbart News. His comments came after the news surfaced that the suspect in the murder of Charlie Kirk had been living with a transgender partner.
Bruezewitz spoke with Breitbart’s Washington Director, Matthew Boyle, just as it was confirmed that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of Kirk’s murder, lived with his partner.
“Honestly, the last few days have been quite tough for me,” Bruzewitz shared with Boyle. “I’ve been feeling an overwhelming sense of grief, but it’s shifting into a kind of righteous anger. Not the kind that leads to violence—I absolutely condemn that—but this anger is about wanting victory for Charlie. I met him over a decade ago, and he was a great friend. He would definitely not want any violent retaliation.”
“Today, I’m even more upset after learning that the shooter was living with a transgender partner,” he continued. “It’s just crazy. This sort of transgender violence—or violence inspired by it—can’t be tolerated anymore. It’s not affirming to allow this kind of insanity to persist. We’re trying to protect kids, which is important, but we can’t condone adult nonsense either. It’s just wrong in a decent society. These individuals harbor a lot of hatred, yet they label Charlie as hateful and take his life.”

While addressing an audience in North Carolina, Bruzewitz characterized the current struggle as a clash not just between Republicans and Democrats, but rather a battle between humanity and madness. He noted that some politicians use vitriolic language on social media while pretending to be civil during conflicts.
“During my speech in North Carolina, I emphasized that this isn’t merely a partisan fight. It’s a matter of right against wrong, good versus evil,” he explained. “If your politicians are on the wrong side of those issues, you need to hold them accountable. They often elevate tensions with their rhetoric and then act all polite in person.”
Bruzewitz pointed out that some attribute blame for Kirk’s death to Trump, Kirk, and others within the conservative movement, labeling them unfairly as “fascists or Nazis.”
“People get furious, and some even resort to small donations or making an appearance on networks like MSNBC or CNN to vent their frustrations. Just days ago, they were suggesting that our rhetoric was linked to fascism or Nazi threats, pointing fingers at Trump, Kirk, and the rest of us. They bear some responsibility too,” he stated, emphasizing the impact of their policies in inspiring individuals to commit acts of violence.
Bruzewitz reflected on a tragic recent incident, where a young girl, seeking a better life from a war-torn country, ended up facing danger after being released by a criminal. “This situation highlights the soft-on-crime narrative pushed by some Democrats,” he remarked. “These ideas are harmful, and their rhetoric contributes to these awful events. That’s the reality we’re dealing with.”
